Welcome to LightLoom, a home for digital string art. The primary purpose of this site will be to display images created by LightLoom and LightLoops, programs which I “have” created (in the future) to draw geometric mathematical curves known as hypotrochoids or Lissajous curves. You may be familiar with these figures from the art design tools called Spirographs or Harmonographs. When I have completed the programs, I hope to make them available here for free download. In the meantime, check out Color Spinner and Spiral, two applications available for Android devices. (My placeholder images were created by Color Spinner.) Another highly recommended digital art app is MandelBrowser, also for Android devices. The fractal image on the LightLoom home page is from MandelBrowser.
